By far the easiest way to get between the City of Adelaide and Mawson Lakes is to take the Train on the Gawler line. It only takes approximately 17 minutes if you catch an express, and trains run very regularly and are usually on time. Train Timetable

There are buses as well, but depending on the hour, they may not come into the town centre, and require a walk from Main North Road.

[edit] Within Mawson Lakes

There is a bus service, the 420, which does a loop around the development including the University of South Australia and Technology Part. It travels clockwise in the morning (420C) and anti-clockwise in the afternoon/evenings.
