[edit] Tour Down Under Starts at Mawson Lakes

Today saw the first stage of the Tour Down Under start at Mawson Lakes, and then make its way through Gawler and the Barossa, to finish in Anguston. It was won in a sprint by Australian Mark Renshaw from the Credit Agricole team.

This was the first time that a UCI Pro-Tour accredited race has been held outside of Europe, and is a credit to Mike Turtur and his Tour organisation.
