[edit] Recycled Water
The Advertiser (Monday, November 8, 1999) had an article on page 11 about the water recycling project. One of the residents, Sharon Zivkovic, is trailing the system.
Recycled water from the system is already being used by other customers. According to Mr Colin Pitman, the contract management director for the Salisbury Council, Heyne's Nursery (Bolivar) is already using recycled water, while Michell wool merchants (Salisbury South) have signed up to get water from the council. (Salisbury South)
The article describes how stormwater from the development, is directed onto wetlands. It filters through to the aquifer, where it is pumped out for use.
