On Wednesday (21 Apr 1999) I'm having a meeting with Mr Sandy Pulsford, SA distributer for Solarex, to discuss a photovoltaic system for the house. The aim is to have a solar cells on the roof which generate power during the day, which can be fed to the power grid for credit, and then use power from the grid at night.

This isn't a cheap process. The budget is $20K. My guess is that this would not be enough to cover a household with children, but would at least put something that would pay for itself. It could always be expanded later.
