Beat the Peak
From MawsonLakes.Org
"Beak the Peak" in Mawson Lakes is a project by ETSA to reduce the electricity power consumption within the Mawson Lakes during periods of peak demand in Summer.
Households with a summer electricity bill of more than $450 with a ducted refrigerated air conditioner are being asked to participate. A device is attached to the air-conditioner which will automatically turn it off for brief periods (15 minutes) during times of peak power load. Homeowners are being offered $100 for volunteering.
For more information, contact an ETSA Utilities representative on 1800 040 546.
